After interacting with more than 50 Ph.D. students and faculties, online surveys, and deeply understanding a journey of researcher from cofounder Prof. Sourish Dasgupta, we chalked out a following vision of the product:

<aside> 💡 A digital platform that acts as a research assistant and helps users in discovering the right resources at the right time to bridge the gap between reading and understanding. The platform should have a self-organizing information structure without too much effort from the user. The platform should improve user's habits of documenting research for better recall and sharing of the information.

Key Challenges

  1. Designing features that help researchers in connecting related information blocks
  2. Coming up with a structure that requires less manual effort for organising knowledge throughout research lifecycle (3-4 years)
  3. Designing collaboration on sensitive research material with priority of privacy
  4. Breaking the norms (and habits of users) of traditional reference manager tools
  5. Being solo designer in managing end-to-end design pipeline 🤯
